Candice James held the title of Poet Laureate, New Westminster, BC for two consecutive three year terms (June 2010 – June 2016) and was appointed Poet Laureate Emerita, New Westminster, BC in November of 2016.
  
This book of poetry contains commissioned poems, historical poems, event poems, and general poems  about the City of New Westminster written by Candice during her term as Poet Laureate.
