Author’s Note
Learning to draw should be a pre requisite to painting and understanding how light and shadow play an important role along with the application of perspective that will display distance all are relative to a successful outcome.
On a personal note — My heart is heavy knowing full well that the human footprint on this beautiful planet is a destructive one. There are those who are guilty of becoming proud members of the greed club. They take at will from the environment but the planet is fully aware of the damage being inflicted on it and is beginning to fight back with weather onslaughts such as wind, fire and flood. Why have we lost the natural ability to simply appreciate the natural beauty of a tree, a river, a meadow, a mountain and all living creatures that make these places home. "What goes around comes around".
