Barry Plamondon has lived in Maple Ridge for 25 yrs with his wife and seven children. He grew up in Vancouver and attended the University of British Columbia Arts Program for three years. He later received a certificate in Practical Horticulture from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and worked as a landscape gardener for 20 yrs. before suffering a stroke.
Barry started writing poetry during his recovery and continues to this day. He is a member pf the Holy Wow Poets in Maple Ridge, a member of Royal City Literary Arts Society and his hobbies include gardening, nature, music, hockey and history.
