Mary Haylock is  a retired teacher with the Hamilton Board of Education, having spent 38 years working in the field of education. She graduated from McMaster University  in Hamilton, Ontario in 1970 with a degree in English Literature. She recently won an award for a short story in a contest sponsored by the Hamilton Arts and Letters magazine.

Mary Haylock. has lived and worked in the Hamilton, Ontario area all her life.
