MARGINS: Set your pages up so that you have 1 inch margins (2.54 cm) on the left, right, top, and bottom of each page.
FONT: Use a 10 point type. Times New Roman Font. Use 18 pt for Chapter Title Pages QUERY FIRST to find out which one for your mss.
SPACING: Single space your lines using the 'no spacing' on the top ribbon tab in microsoft word documents.
INDENTATIONS: Indent your paragraphs by 3 spaces. Also indent the first line of all dialogue, unless it is the same character speaking after short descriptive text.
TEXT ALIGNMENT: Distribute your text evenly ( Justify Ctrl+J ) or simply use ribbon tab stating the same.
CHAPTERS: Begin each chapter on a new page, and start 12 spaces down. A correctly formatted manuscript also includes the chapter title or chapter numbefr .

COVER PAGE: Include a cover page with your fiction or non-fiction manuscript. Include the manuscript title, your name, agent contact information, if applicable, your contact information, and the word count. Center this information with a space in between each line.
COVER LETTER: Please submit a brief overview of the story, and a bio and curriculum of the author.
